pickle, pesto

Lots of good discussions about this over on the Harvest forum here. Recipes included in many of them. Pickling them is quite popular and so is pesto (freezes great). And there is always the great pizza topping use.

Sautéed with eggs. Fantastic.

Pesto and used like garlic. Make sure to pick them while they are still young and tender.

I sauteed with onions was good but nothing special.

I munch on them raw while gardening, substitute for crushed garlic cloves in season, give away a lot. They are good chopped into soups, added to stirfry, chopped raw in salads, chopped as a topping for pizza and pesto of course. They are generally milder than garlic cloves.
