Do you have a photo with better lighting? This one seems to be exposed for the outdoors and the interior is very hard to see?

Also, do you already have the hardware design chosen and need recs on finish? If so, can you share photos of your choice?

I like mixing metals (I've got brushed nickel hardware with brass lighting and brass framed art myself). I think they would pair well together in your space, but the chrome chandelier really throws me. Do you have other options for that? Maybe something in the champagne color?

I think either finish would look good. The Champagne is warm. I love your two choices for hardware, too. Amerock is a good brand. I have them on my cabinets. They feel substantial.

I'd stay away from the Tournant - it seems fussy and would collect dirt. I like the clean lines of the other. Very similar to mine, which I find very convenient and easy to use.

What's the other light? Would it lend itself to being painted? Lots of companies make good metallic spray paints now.

Very interesting idea on painting the chandelier. I thought I posted it. Here it is.

Super easy to get fixtures powder coated as well and incredibly cost effective. And enables you to get the exact color as options are nearly endless. In my new build we were limited on fixture options and are compromising with the ability for powder coating.

Where do you go to get items powder coated?

My vote is go with the champagne and find a way to get your current one painted to match.

Just do a search for powder coating services in your area. We have a few businesses in town that specialize it. As long as it’s solid metal they should be able to. Obviously you’d have to unhook the electrical, bulbs etc but we’ve had work done on fixtures, lamps, fireplace covers etc and they have come out good as new.

You bet! Take the piece in and see what they can do! Super cost effective upgrade, you obviously chose that fixture in the first place for a reason so if a color tweak keeps it functional then that’s fantastic! And economical ;)

Buy a sample of each cabinet pull. Try them out.

You could put that chandelier in your master closet!

kyleel, what a great idea! Unfortunately my master closet only has 8 foot ceilings and I think my husband who is over 6 foot might hit his head! But maybe it would work in the master bath?

After you change the hardware, the chandelier can be reconsidered. I love the alternative fixture you chose but you really should sell the installed ones before splurging.

Then again, after the hardware change no one may notice your lighting!

The Kohler Tournant coil is removable and dishwasher safe.

What did you finally decide to do?

@RedRyder I went with the Delta Cassidy faucet in the stainless and the Amerock Candler pulls and knobs in Satin Nickel on the white cabinets and drawers and Amerock Candler pulls in Champagne gold on the blue island. The gold is very subtle but I like it better than the silver with the blue cabinets. I am sticking with the lighting I have for now.. We have to get the powder room and mudroom done so there are many more decisions to make!
