You are well within its hardiness range!! In fact, it is a Great Plant Pick. But it is slow to establish and start to spread. And it dislikes any kind of dryness, so that can certainly curb its movement :-)

I would prefer not to combine it with other groundcovers as I don't care for the intermingled appearance. So I can't speak from personal experience about it running rampant over the others......although since the cyclamen has an extended period of dormancy and prefers much drier soil conditions, I would hope to keep the two apart :-) And I can't imagine much bothering mondo grass!!

After 12 years, mine is still almost the size it was when I bought it. That is a slow spreader! I suppose it doesn’t like it’s placement much, probably too dry for it. I have seen it in other gardens in bice sized patches.
