This was a remodel- we did not move walls or window as it was already a large space. We did have to cut the slab to move plumbing. In most remodels, you need to consider the following:

Timing: 2-3 months in Planning stage, 2-3 months building stage
Cost: Depends on the quality of your contractor & materials selected. This kitchen is Medium Range appliances, Medium-High on Cabinets, and is a large kitchen. Including all of the above components start to finish $100k - $120k in California

This particular kitchen did not cost that much because we saved existing flooring, re-used existing ceiling cans and the husband actually did the majority of the labor himself- so it was less expense but took much longer than 3 months.
