Hello! I'm not as ambitious as you, Linda, though I did begin and finish a June lotto block today. Yay! I hope to work on a Baby James quilt later this weekend, too. Happy Quilting, y'all!

We should (FINALLY!) finish the floor project tomorrow, so I may actually get some sewing time on Sunday! Woohoo! I have been working on my crochet projects in the evenings.

I was invited to a shower on July 12, so I'm working on a baby quilt. I saw a photo of a quilt on-line that I loved, so I'm making it in a baby-sized version. I ordered some fun Shannon Cuddle for the backing, because nothing about the front says "baby." Once again, I was able to use scraps and my stash for the quilt top. Yay!!

I am hoping to get the binding on the first quilt for Jackie's Baby James project. I found a cute pattern I would like to make for the second one - if I get time to start on it! I am painting our front door and got it sanded and primed today. Tomorrow I need to sand again, then the first coat of paint. Sunday evening we are going to a concert, so that will be fun - although I would probably rather sew!

I have started piecing two quilts for the Baby James project. I hope to finish the tops at least in a couple of days. I also want to load a quilt on the frame to snatch a few minutes everyday during the week to quilt. That’s the only way I get to work on my UFO pile.

Now that the construction work on the basement is finished, it is time to arrange and put things in order. The furniture is placed but not 'nailed down', subject to change as I work down there. Today I placed bins on shelves, again subject to change, and mainly to get the bins off the floor.

I have way too much fabric!!!
