Design Dilemma Kitchens

Kitchen remodeling project

I can’t make up my mind between 2 kitchen islands (4’5x9’5), to only one that is long & wide (5’x10 or 12’)
The kitchen space will be: 17’4 up to 21’ Wide & 37’ (not includes the pantry that is 6’6x4’, if I choose eventually to have one,still not sure. I’m going to upload few sketchs options, would love & appreciate any thoughts.

Neither--the island is a barrier between the sink and fridge in both plans.

Are you open to suggestions on the perimeter layout?

Agreed .......those are really large triangles for the kitchen. Two islands just doesn't work IMO.

The kitchen isn’t the only dysfunctional thing on that plan, but it’s just about the worst. And turning it into grand central station and mud room combined is extremely poor design.

Your draftsman doesn’t cook. And must live in a cave somewhere like a hermit.

Start over with someone of design talent. That is usually an architect.
