Appliance advise- help!

I have narrowed down search for appliances to 3 brands. I am doing a 3 piece package as my stove and fridge are next to each other. I can see most refrig get mixed reviews but my biggest concern is stove. GE profile slide in gas range, kitchen aid slide in gas and LG Studio are my 3 contenders. The Kitchenaid d and Ge have many complaints of knobs getting really hot so that’s a concern. Lg many complaints the way to easy to turn on gas and not notice. Looking for any input on these problems and your experience.

No advice on those products but it’s sure purdy! We did some research (and my friend is the rep for Florida so I asked him a zillion questions) and ended up going with Jenn-Air, not installed yet but it has an awesome griddle and is pretty tech-y which we love.

Thanks Sara! The jen air is Purdy too! I don’t think we looked at that one if I add another to look at my husband probably kill me. I’ve been looking for months and we want to decide this week.

Anyone have a Kitchenaid and can tell me if their oven handle and burner knobs get really hot when using the oven? Also if it scratches easily? I notice a magnet sticks to even the top of the stove so not real stainless.

I would suggest exploring options other than packages. Stainless across brands tends to blend fairly well, That way you can get best in each category. You’ll be happier long term with the better performance of each piece, regardless of brand.

I get the look at different brands for each which I am somewhat doing with dishwasher and hood. My search for the stove for a slide in leaves me with these 3 as best rated but each one still has a some scary defect when I look online. I am not changing counter tops so a true slide in doesn’t work for me. These are all freestanding that look like slide in. Ge and ka both say knobs get extremely hot and lg has so many complaints about the knobs turning on just walking past.

I've never had a moments issue with my GE Cafe. I've used both the Cafe and the Monogram products in multiple projects. I'm using KA in a current project. I don't think you can go wrong with either of those brands. This is where you have to visit the appliance store and assess the ergonomics of each yourself.

I love my GE range - had it about 6 months now and perfect. Never had a 'hot' knob.

I added these 'gap fillers' from Amazon - nice finished look.

Also just bought a GE Fridge (PYE22KSKSS) a month ago. Click on my name for some reviews on it. Love it too.

Thank you! I’ve to been to the appliance store so much they just say “see you tomorrow” when I’m leaving. With stoves they are not hooked up like refrigerators so you can’t really tell if knobs get hot or if it’s easy to accidentally turn on gas as has been reported on ka and lg.

Love my GE Cafe, but the knobs are junk plastic. They don’t get hot, but break easily (the inside sleeve that slides over the metal stem). And if I recall, they are about $75 each to replace!!
