My living room is giving us headaches, trying to pick out a furniture layout. It "seems" as though it's a good size living room, although there are issues that "shrink" it.

Accounting for walking paths cause the area to give us less space to work with. The view below shows the fireplace right in front (kitchen behind), foyer to left, french doors/patio to the right, and hallways on each side of the fireplace. I tried to give a few dimensions and highlight the walls in blue. Does anyone have any thought as to maximize the seating and layout in this area? We have not purchased any furniture yet. Thanks!
