Duvet cover help - Making my first bed after college

Hello all,

Could y'all please help a girl out with some of your thoughts? I need a relaxing bedroom to come home to after working 10 hours a day. But I need your help to make it my dream bed! I love the hippie and boho style. Think plants and rattan. I have been under the first time stress of moving and trying to just put everything together.

I have this wooden platform bed. Def spent way too much I am over my budget. For room reference hardwood sorta dark brown floors, and white walls.

A 10 inch queen mattress. I broke down after not having any sheets and bought these queenAmazon Heather Oatmeal Jersey knit sheets.

I think I should have gotten light grey... White ones would have been ideal but I was not able to find any not terribly expensive ones! I imagine I can just use these and maybe pair it with a white duvet and a light grey blanket to pull it all together? What do y'all think? Or I could return it (and then someone please recommend me white jersey/all cotton sheets that are that price if not cheaper).

I have bought an oversized duvet. I need your help on this. It is 98x98 inches. I did not realize how hard it would be to find a 96x96 duvet cover. I really love it (its by Weekender on Amazon I highly recommend) and it is so comfy, but I think I just now have seen people saying a platform bed would suit a duvet you can tuck under. I am a bit worried about this. Plus I am unable to find a white duvet cover this size. Anyone out there able to find a reasonable white 96x96 duvet cover?

Thank you in advance for all your help you good people.

Sending love,

Helen
