No, it is not an option from Maytag. I saw the "fix" on youtube a few weeks ago but cannot find it now.

I take it you both have not ever used this model of washing machine. It puts so little water in the wash cycle that the agitation tears the clothes; so little water in the rinse cycle the clothes still have soap suds in them. If you raise the water level in both cycles my wife can use the machine. I wish I had seen the many reviews about this model before we bought it. We would have bought another brand or model. It is not being used at this time.

The only choices for a higher fill level on this model are the Bulky/Sheets and Deep Water cycles. Hand Wash also fills higher but has gentler action, perhaps selecting the Heavy soil option with it will provide adequate cleaning for some types of loads.
