Hi all.

I have a question about a California Gooseberry I purchased a few months back at a local plant sale. It's been growing quite nicely in a container on the deck. It has two main branches and each measure about 18-24 inches. However, it seems like they need support as they want to flop over the side of the container. I'm worried this will eventually damage the branches.

Perhaps this is just an issue because it's in a container, but should Gooseberry branches be supported at some point or just leave as is?
