Cherry Coke Dyckias are dark red in full sun and flower once a year in spring. A bunch of those with the variegated plants behind them would make a great color contrast.

I know someone that has quite a few iguanas around his area and what i see in his yard (so i assume the iguanas aren't partial to) are decorative grasses, snow on the mountain, large hibiscus bushes, turks cap, periwinkles, crown of thorns, and lots of palms. Now he has a huge mango trees so i figure that is the iguana draw.

They don’t like mature bananas and plants with fuzzy leaves. So safer plants are herbs, esp. rosemary and basil. citrus, carambola, soursop, dragon fruit, bromeliads.

You must not have any dogs around, iguanas are terrified of them.
