Not a good idea to use barn doors for bathrooms, they don't provide privacy and have many flaws.

I don't have room for it to be installed on the outside wall it would interfere with the closet wall when sliding open. It's a very odd setup. When I move the door around the corner I then capture a good 3 feet of wall space in the bedroom. I'm the only one that lives in the condo and it's a vacation place so not there all the time. I'm thinking bigger opening too. thank you !

What about a pocket door?

I am doing much the same thing with a bathroom door. My small bathroom has two doors that both open into this small room.. The plan is to replace them both with these exterior mounted sliding doors.

I am using Johnson hardware.

These doors really do not provide as much privacy, but I am not going to worry about it.

If you need that much privacy, there are two other bathrooms to choose from.

You are right that these are a nice alternative to pocket doors. Pocket doors require you to tear out and reconfigure the wall studs.

Nope, nope, nope ... stayed in a hotel once with a barn door on the master. Would not like to own such a set-up. Barn doors don't close tightly, and the bathroom completely lacked privacy.

Hi. I currently have one and I love it. My post was about what size not if I should get one. My original master was one of those with just an entrance no door at all popular in the 80’s and 90’s. I did not have the room for a regular door so I added a barn door just keep the heat in and allow a bit of privacy. Works well for me but thAnk you
