Bathroom Design Advice

I have a small master bath that the vanity area was open to the master, and then the toilet and shower area has a pocket door. I am in the middle of a major reno and one part is adding pocket doors to the vanity area so it separates that from the master. I was wondering if now that I will be adding a door to the vanity area if I should remove the wall to the toilet/shower area. I've seen a few neighbors that have opened the wall or had a pony wall and it really opens the space.. What do you all think???? Or do you think it's nice to keep the separation in between for privacy. I've added some pictures of my bath and then some examples of the wall opened. If I do keep the pocket I will be updating the door to a 6 panel one, but you really lose the light from the window.
