Another Finish - Anniversary Quilt for DH

Here's the quilt I just made for DH. I'll give it to him next month for our 48th anniversary. It has the fat batting in it (the fattest I could find) at his request so I was no way going to try to run that through the machine to quilt, I machine tacked it. He also picked out this particular quilt design from a magazine, said he liked it so this is the closest I could get with what I had. He wanted one bigger than the one I made for him years ago but he insisted it had to be the thick batting like it. He wants it for watching TV on cold Winter nights in his recliner and yes, for falling asleep and sleeping there all night sometimes.

Thanks all. Sharon, I just used the FM foot and sewed an "X" wherever I would normally tie it. I've done this before either with the FM foot or with the embroidery foot and using a decorative stitch, sewing one motif in each spot. The only hassle is I don't have an automatic thread cutter and that gets to be a pain to go underneath and cut the bobbin thread before moving on to the next spot.
