Can both the trundle and drawers be used?

I can’t tell from the picture or description how the trundle mechanism works? Does the trundle mattress slide back under the bed or do the mattresses need to be restacked? Can the drawers and trundle both be used or do you have to choose between them?

Hi Meg, The twin mattresses are stacked on each other when the bed is in 'twin daybed' position. Then when you pull out the trundle you move one of the mattresses on top of the trundle to make the king size bed. The drawers pull out with the trundle so they can be used when the bed is in twin or king size! And when you put the bed back to twin size you would re-stack the mattresses, as you've noted. Hope that helps; these are good questions!

Hello! When the trundle bed is extended the drawers do 'travel' with it so they can still be accessed when the bed is extended. Hope that helps!
