Are they sending you Bisque instead of white or does the white look Bisque?

If your appliances are stainless I would go with a stainless sink.

You didn't say the size, but there are some ice grey Kohler's out there.

Have you considered soapstone? The color would be great with the carrera.

I would keep investigating the gray sinks from Kohler and also see if there is a stainless sink that matches the cut out.

I have bought two white Shaw farmhouse sinks from Amazon and they are both very white. Ferguson's which is a large chain carries them. In any case, you might check one out and see if they appear whiter than the Kohler. I assume they run about the same in terms of size and might fit your space.

Why not go with a high end stainless sink (undermounted) or a hammered copper sink (undermounted). Your contractor should be able to rig a support system under the sink to hold it up. It's kinda weird that they cant find white. I have 2 cast iron white kohler sinks in my places and got them no problem. Also it may depend on where you are. If you are in a smaller city, go to a larger city that you may be able to walk in and take on off the floor or that is in stock.

I am surprised that the white sinks you've ordered from Kohler look bisque because our (3 year old) cast iron Kohler sink is quite a pure white (our cabinets are ivory, and I can say with confidence that the sink is considerably whiter than the cabinets). I guess you are right that the veining in the marble gives such a gray cast to the white in your counter that it makes the sink look off-white in comparison. But I agree that the solution may be to switch to stainless. I actually think that will look more timeless than a gray cast iron sink.

Thanks for all the suggestions. The Kohler sink we have is the Lakefield. We did see it on the internet on various websites but when we tried to order it in ice grey, the websites (Amazon, efaucets, plumber surplus and home click) all discovered that it had been discontinued and were unable to get it for us. Our kitchen designer worked with Kohler to find us another style, the Hartland, but this meant recutting the sink opening and we did not want to have the counter top removed to do this because we were afraid it might break when they tried to remove it. Considered stainless but not a big fan as I am already frustrated with the streaks on the stainless appliances. Right now, I think I will be installing the Kohler "white" sink and will put a picture up when it is done.

I just ordered the Kohler Whitehouse tall apron front sink in white and I was disappointed when
it arrived beause it looks bisque not bright white. I am being told that it is the lighting in my kjitchen and then once installed it wil look white. I am not sure what to do. Axalud, are you happy with your sink?

Basically we are happy with the sink. When I look at it, it still looks more bisque to me than white. No one notices this unless I mention it to them. We installed a backsplash of white subway tile which is a true white and it looks good. I don't think it is your lighting as we have multiple can lights in the room and above the sink.

Same problem with Kohler here. Am doing a bathroom renovation and the Kohler toilet - marked as "white" is really closer to a bisque color. It's clashing with the white tub and white vanity. Not sure what to do at this point.

Is it too late to buy a different brand toilet or is the Kohler toilet already installed?

There are so many different shades of white, it can be frustrating! After awhile we accepted the sink color. We sold that house and it was a non issue. We are now in the middle of another kitchen renovation!

Everything is installed. Kohler tub, shower basin and sinks. Actually, once the tub was installed it didn't look so bad. What the problem is now is the vanity. It's so bright white, it's screaming! We may consider painting it if possible.

You might want to add your accessories, towels, rugs, etc. before you decide to paint the vanity. Maybe it will tone down the vanity or distract your eye.

What company makes the brightest bathroom white sink

I ordered a white Kohler Ladena sink which looked off white. I changed my light bulbs in the bathroom to LED bright white and the sink now looks white! Consider changing your lighting to get the shade of white you want. There are warm white bulbs, bright white and Daylight in LED.

Also the amount of lumens in the bulbs can make a difference too and if you have a window in the room or not. Try to remember there are many shades of white.
