It looks good!..does this one produce runners?..am I understanding this correctly - you have the pot of soil sitting in water?..I have 2 black EEs but they're smaller than yours..and no blooms..

Yes, it produces runners. I have it in a pail filled with water and keep the level at the rim.

That is very nice! I want one now. I've love to see more angled pics of the bloom and also how you have it set up in water. In the 3 seasons I've had Aroids, I've never seen an inflorescence that color. I think I read in your sister post that you got it in June. It's becoming apparent to me that if you have a large healthy EE in late May to early June that you'll have a monster in Aug-Oct. I had those conditions for 2 EEs last year but none this year...except for one I gave away last Spring. It was 5'4" on the 7th. I'm looking fwd to measuring it again.

Well, the inflorescence drooped, but I have another one coming. I’ll take pics of that for you, Jay. My set up is pretty simple: I planted the Black Coral in a 10-inch nursery pot and put it in a 10-inch bucket filled with water. They fit tightly, but I don’t think that matters. I water every day. Twice a week I use a liquid fertilizer full strength.
