Hall Design Dilemma Building a Home

Hall Opening Type

I’ve tried to find similar types of openings online and am having trouble doing so. What is this type of opening called? Non Cased, no header, etc.

In terms of construction and framing, does this effect any load bearing issues of the wall?

While this is a more modern look can you couple it with arched cased openings in other parts of the home or is that a no-no?

The "openings" are simply the spaces between the wall with shelving and the other walls.

The ceiling is structural and spanning from the far wall on the left to a beam running continuously on the right.

The wall with the shelving does not appear to be load bearing.

The "opening" is a way that architects like to preserve and maintain the open and continuous flow of space from one part of a house to another.

And no, these types of "openings" are not compatible with framed, arched openings elsewhere. Or vice versa.
