A niche would be harder to clean I think, with it being a small space and having more corners.

Cool tile! Is there a spot to put them that is away from the wetness of the shower? Then a microfiber type cleaner should be able to get in the crevices, so long as you don't have to deal with wetness or mold that collects.

Yes, This tile will collect dust. I would suggest to look for something different. This will be a chore to keep clean.

I think not using them at all is the best option.

Dust, grime, and yuck. I would never use them.

I have seen these in a couple homes and they can be a really neat effect, but yes I expect would require a regular visit with a Swiffer, and I would not want to do them in a bath where you can add on soap residue etc.

Where/how large is the wall, what are the OTHER elements and what is the flooring, in the shower and in the entire bath?. You asked about dust and grime to which you have an answer, You have not provided enough info to answer beyond : )

Plain glossy tile is always good in a bathroom.

I have had similar tiles for about 5 years in our bathroom behind the vanity, not in the shower. There is no discernible dust and grime on this wall compared to others. I love them.

It seems that every frozen yogurt shop in center city Philly uses those tiles (or similar). It's the only place I ever see them.

To me, they look very commercial, not residential.

Has anyone done 3 walls with the 12x24' wavy white tile? What does it look like?
