I have always hated mirrored wardrobe doors. If you can't afford to replace them with regular wood sliding doors, put up a canvas curtain. (I shouldn't talk; I recently had a wall removed between two tiny bedrooms and a wardrobe installed, and I still haven't put up doors or anything.)

Just saw stunning replacement contemporary doors at Lowes. As an alternate option have a sign company install frosted glass vinyl over the mirror. The doors will look like frosted glass.

If you can change out anything, I would remove that vertical blind first thing and get something for privacy first, like a slat blind or a made to order light blocking shade, not a curtain. Start with that first. I don't think you will have a lot of space on that window for panels because there is little space around the window and then there's the heating element underneath. Yes...change out the mirror doors.

I like mirrored wardrobes. I am remodeling and replacing my old mirrored doors with new ones. I also have a bureau with a mirror.

I loke the way the mirrors open open up the space and at least for me reflect the view I have. I also appreciate the functionality of having large full length mirrors.

I always like to have a full length mirror somewhere on the bedroom level.

I appreciate everyones feed back. This is a rental so removing the doors are not an option. I was wondering if I can hang a curtain from wall to wall that covers the mirrored closet and window. I can then open the curtain when I need to access the closet and when I would want sunlight.

Are you thinking about putting a curtain across the whole wall with closet and window, leaving the mirrored closet by the door as is? I think that would be OK, since I don't like the bathroom being reflected in the mirrors. The other mirror would reflect light when the drapes are open.

You will have to have two separate lengths of drapes to do a full wall. You shouldn't cover the heat register under the window with drapes. I think two different length of drapes on one wall would look odd. Maybe a removable decorative film on the closet doors?

This depends on you , some of us like to take a good look from all angles and some of us rather not look in the mirror period ! if too many mirrors are not to your liking then in this case , I would keep a full view one because it really helps to see the complete you and how your clothes looks on you get rid of the smaller one on the dresser and replace that space with a picture .
