Pool Coping and Flagstone Sealing

I am getting a pool built. The flagstone I chose looks so much better when it’s wet but my pool builder does not seal the flagstone. They said they suggest not to seal our stone. It makes it hotter with the Texas sun it also gives it a milky over look after about six months. However, all videos I’ve seen of pools being built have the flagstone sealed. I’m leaning towards going for it anyway. Anyone have any experience with this around your pools?? I’ll attach pictures of the flagstone dry and wet.
