I'm in western NC. This tree has big nasty thorns on it.

    I am no expert, the people in trees or name that plant would probably know better. But compare it to locust? I wouldn’t know the difference between them. Honey, Black....

    Thank you. I just looked up the honey locust and black locust and believe it is a black locust judging by the thorns.
