Well they both look good with the carpet, wood and stone, but the one on the right looks better. However, you don't show the couch so there's no way to determine if that one looks better with the couch. By the way, my guess is the one on the left is Revere Pewter. Also, Worldly Gray is the Sherwin Williams color match for Revere Pewter if you are looking to use SW paint.

I ordered the couch actually so I don't have it yet. however, here is a pic of it at the store.

Agree with the one on the left. It can be iffy, but on my screen it appears to work better with everything you're showing, including the sofa.

I agree with trying to borrow a cushion. Paint looks different on every wall. Revere puter is like a chameleon and looks different in every room, and in all different types of lighting. Both your samples appear to be a bit more greige. I have a gray couch. Neither one of your samples would go with my couch. In fact, when I painted my living room, I painted it 3 different times to get a gray that actually looked gray and went with my couch. I finally got the walls the color I wanted, with the exception of one long wall. I solved that problem by using an accent wall in turquoise that I hadnt planned on using, but, that I really love.

It is a little bit weird for me to get gray paint for walls based on gray couch.

Exactly ^^^^so I’d wait until the sofa is in place and then judge paint tones.

I think I would go with something lighter. The couch is quiet a substantial piece, combined with the carpet, I worry the space will be too gray and muddy. I would go with a white for the walls to keep the space bright, perhaps something like BM Cloud White or BM Dove Wing.

I don't think you should get a gray unless it is very light or very dark. Otherwise I think it will fight with the couch. Look at some light tans or warm whites.

what warm whites would you suggest?

I have been going back and forth between these exact same two colors for over 3 weeks now! My sofa is dark, so quite different from yours, but I just cannot decide. I've love to see/hear an update when you're done! (We have already decided on Dove White so I'd second that rec'd)

Just recently did my main walls of house with Revere Pewter. I love it and so does everyone that comes over. The back of my house where most the windows are is west facing also. Only place it didn’t work was near kitchen and it threw green undertone and I used Edgecomb Gray there instead which is next to the Revere Pewter and it’s super neutral.
