I believe all the film has been archived at WGBH. They will digitize, for a fee. You'd like to believe that some investor would see to it that they can get circulated. Crockett died a year or so in, and the show metamorphosed somewhat with different hosts and different names.

You might want to buy the Victory Garden books. I see them quite often at used book sales/used book stores. The original month-by-month guide is still my favorite. I loved that show. It was back when I first started vegetable gardening. I also like the cookbook, lots of nice recipes organized by vegetable.

I’ll check out the book. I had searched it quickly on Amazon and it appears to be around $50 new. I could probably pick it up used for a good price.

Seriously though, they need to release the show!! Haha.

I used to watch that show on PBS when I was a kid, haha. I have watched a few of them on youtube also and it brought back a lot of memories!

Did you also try a search on youtube for 'victory garden' minus 'crocketts'? I believe Crockett's was dropped from the show title in later years.
