While I usually think it is ideal to use the same wood on the same floor for consistency, bedrooms are more private spaces and won't disrupt the flow of the public rooms if you end up choosing a different wood. I should add that in houses built in the early 20th century it was very common to use different woods in different rooms for different purposes. I once lived in a lovely 1920 Craftsman that had ash floors in the kitchen, white oak in the living and dining rooms, and wide plank pine in the bedrooms upstairs.
