getting back to fig trees

I had a few but had no time to take care of them and left them out all winter and they died ( from Montreal Canada)

last year my Mission fig tree of 3 years was left out in -30C weather

all wood died but in late May it shot up again

no figs obviously

Right now my parents have a Kadota which I gave them and is about 4 years old ... produces around 200 figs this year

the taste is ok....

im looking for a fig tree for my area which is 5b

want something that produces lots of figs of a good size that can obviously thrive in my zone and in a pot.....

any ideas ? Thx
