No. This does not look good together and I don't see a fix aside from holding accountable whom ever put in the wrong backsplash. Have them take it out and either put in the appropriate one or repair the wall.

There already is a 4” backsplash, you don’t need another one. If the granite backsplash were not there, the small mosaic tile is way too busy, wrong style, wrong color. You are better off, as njay said, with a simple painted wall which coordinates with your countertop.

No, it doesn't look like it will work at all. Hopefully, its not completely installed and grouted. With the lip splash, you would go with a larger solid cream or gray color in the tops not the warm, staggered multi-tone minis. It would be better to remove the small splash and start over with something that will work with the tops. If you would post some pics of the entire kitchen that show cab style, colors and floors, we could make some suggestions. Or even the name of the granite would help.

NO to this just rip it out patch the drywall and leave the 4” backsplash or remove it too and find new tile.
