Caterpillar ID help!!???

HE was moving really fast so this is the best picture I could get please anything would help i live in Kansas and he was just sitting on a patch of weeds

It's one of the tiger moths, most likely a yellow bear. Yellow bears come in different colors. 'Makes a pretty, white moth.

I'm wondering if it's a dark phase of the salt marsh caterpillar. Contrary to the name, these caterpillars feed on all kinds of field crops and weeds.

Could be - I started to mention salt marsh caterpillar, they're so similar to yellow bears, both being tiger moths. Here's the funny looking 'face' of a salt marsh cat -
