Need help finishing my kitchen!

I have painted almost all of my kitchen cabinets, replaced hardware and put in a new backsplash. I need some help on finishing it off.

Should I have white outlets or grey (see photos where I have both up)?

I want to use a spoon flower peel and stick woven wall paper for the open cupboards- do you prefer the triangles or grass cloth? (See photo)

Lastly what should I do with the island? I don't want to paint it white.... Should I stain it a walnut color? Paint it grey? Paint it a dark teal? (Paint samples of teal on backsplash photo)

I can't change the floor at the moment so no ideas needed there. I am planning to paint and recover the barstool seats. I am open to different lighting above the island.

3. for the island I'd pick the darkest color from the top. I don't care for the teal

IMO finish paintng the cabinets like the one next to the stove and the island all the same color get a couple of new stools. Gray oulets and I guess the triangles but I would want to put something more attractive in the open cabinet

So you are saying to paint the island white as well?

The open cupboards will have a more attractive display when I am done. right now it has old chipped dishes, but I have some nice pottery pieces to go in there when done.

Grey outlets, maybe paint open shelving and island same color to tie them together, maybe navy or light blue or green or something fun, and new bar stools.

Hi Melissa,
Great job so far! Definitely go with the grey outlets. Given the two different counter choices and busy floor, I would be tempted to paint the island the same as the rest of the cabinets. If that really doesn't appeal to you, I would choose the deepest charcoal from your island counter and floor. (Might be challenging to coordinate the two.) Can you post a closer pic of your floor tile? And what is the name of your granite?
I would also consider swapping the faucets for a matte black to coordinate with the rest of the hardware. Think cohesion.
Stools definitely need replacing, but that will depend on the island decision.

My floor is hideous. It is grey with purples, pinks and blues. I HATE it, but it covers my kitchen, front entry, mudroom and downstairs bathroom. I have been saving to have it replaced, the quotes were 10K plus. I am going to pretend the floor isn't there, because I know it won't be there next year. :) The idea was to brighten up my kitchen (it was very dark before). This is a very messy before picture.

I can do a dark dark grey on the island. Thanks for the ideas!
