As an iron phosphate based slug control, it sounds very similar to Sluggo or Escar-go. I use Sluggo routinely on my potted hostas to keep slugs at bay so don't see much reason why the Ferramol wouldn't work in the same manner.

Dipel is an entirely different product and used to control very different pests. What are you attempting to control.......besides slugs or sails??

ah snails, slugs. moth caterpillars and any other not seen (good for nutting) pests that are destroying my few plants and seedlings. Def won't us Sevin. won't allow it on my property. hate using any chemicals my leaves of existing esp potted green beans plants a have honey and ragged leaves. I picked off and gladly stomped on snails other nite as well as few slugs. Hard to catch the stink bugs. But I v can smell hem Did smash one again couple bites ago. Have hail netting over lots of my plants as well as sheers in front of my FEW Ky wonder green beans.. Mostly keep deer off for that.

The Ferramol will work for slugs and snails. You will have to do something else for other pests. Dipel is only used for caterpillars. And they have to eat the treated foliage for it to have effect.

yeah but is it okay in container veggies? Yeah sure there are caterpillars too ...Ihaven't actually seen any on stuff in my hailing netting "tents".

but definitely in a leftover potted up collard from last fall. that out in the open sitting on gravel. I killed a dozen or so on that poor collard and 3 or four two nites ago...
