Kaleidochrome is smallish and fertile at 10x22"

Very few named mini streakers out there. Lakeside Knick-knack is one; I got a few pods from it this year. Pretty unstable, though. If all goes well I'll have a slew of new streakers for breeding next year; I got about 10 decent seedlings from a cross with a gracillima form (pollen parent).

You might consider Hyuga Urajiro, it's quite stable, and a decent grower as well.

The BME family is notoriously bad at setting seed, and the streaked ones are notoriously unstable. Hyuga Urajiro is also very stingy at setting seed, and I don't know that anyone has gotten streaked seedlings from it anyway. I'm using Lightning Flash (S to M size) and crossing with smaller hostas.

Well Lakeside Knickknack has 6 scapes. Pink panther 1.

Any other good sources on streakers ? Specifically the ones that produce good number of streaked babies and on small or smallish side?

I got few streaked seedlings but not sure how big they will get.

Dorset Clown is small and has reasonable pod set and a good percentage of streaked seedlings. Fairly easily obtainable here in Europe so somebody must carry it over there.

ken is right most aren't good growers or all that fertile. like the mouse turds, vigorous mutations usually don't set alot of seed.

if i liked minis i would start with small streakers and add venusta pollen, and maybe tiaras. then select for the most vigorous and fertile babies to grow on into the next generation.
