I have a large batch of apple butter going, as I have a pot of sloppy joes simmering. In an overwhelmed moment, I grabbed the wrong spoon, and accidentally used the sloppy joe spoon to stir the apple butter. OMG! The spoon is made of bamboo - no meat on it, just residual liquid. It tastes totally fine, but now am wondering if it is safe to can. My apple butter recipe used a lot of vinegar, if that makes a difference. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you!!!!!
