Treated wood is low end in comparison to composite decking. I have a treated wood deck and it gets hot as heck. We wear shoes in the summer, including the dogs. Treated or not, it still warps and shrinks and changes with the temperature. It will also give you splinters and needs yearly maintenance. If I had it to do over again, I would have shelled out the extra cash for composite. The only problem with composite is that you can't change the color.
