It would depend on the other finishes in the room like paint, tile, etc. You can't go wrong with a brushed nickel though.

if you do mix metals, it's best to go with two that look different. Two metals that look similar but are slightly off will read more like a mistake than an intentional design choice.

I like champagne bronze with polished nickel! Looks gorgeous!

I think that champagne gold and flat black are gorgeous together.
