Kitchen before and after needs some finishing touch ideas!

Here's our before and after kitchen! Although the old kitchen was fine, we were just not in love with it. The stovetop was borderline dangerous, the sink grew mold, the tile matched our bathroom (??), the raised bar cut off the adjoining room so people gathered in the kitchen, and the colors were all wrong for our taste. Doing the project (mostly) ourselves kept our costs down so we could afford the things we wanted, but now I could use some advice for colors and finishing touches to make it really special!

    If you replace or recover the stools, consider a pop of color. Something that really stands out instead of blends in. I think I see red knobs on the stove, maybe some towels or utensil crook in red. In any case accessories with a pop of color would work. With this said, I still think this is a great looking kitchen. Enjoy it

      Your sink is gorgeous - great job on the whole kitchen, a transformation! I'd suggest a big statement clock or piece of art that you love on the empty wall above the sink.

      Beautiful! You did a lovely job on your kitchen. Not sure you need to do much here. Maybe work in an accent color in canisters, a fruit bowl, towels, floor rugs, utensil holder. Maybe art on the wall near your sink. I like to break up my counters with a bit of art, greenery or interest pieces so its not all just kitchen stuff. To me it helps personalize the space and blends in with the feel of the rest of the house. You have alot of counter space to play with if you want to. We did as well. Cheers on a wonderful job done!

      It is absolutely stunning! Wow! You must be so happy (and proud)!!! Some nice "non kitchen" pieces to add pops of color would be great I think. Personally, I'm a bit insane with seasonal decorating; this is my "summer blues" kitchen.

      I love your new kitchen. The only thing I might add would be a splash of dark or navy blue artwork on the wall by the sink.
