That is a lovely kitchen. Congratulations. I particularly like how well you've laid everything out.

Lovely! Very nice bar!

What a great job you did! Your new kitchen is so much brighter and I love your sink, countertop and flooring!

Townlakecakes - The fridge was in the same place. We didn't change the footprint much, but my cabinet guy did a great job maximizing storage space.

malabacat - Thank you! I had great contractors. But it was super cool to see my choices come together and work out! :-) . We were really trying to make things brighter. It was a dark kitchen before - especially with the original drop ceiling. It's a very small space, but I love it now.

Nice job, though (except for the counter top) I don't think the original looked bad.

- I like that you downsized the uppers and made the window less crowded.

- I like that the cabinetry is simple /clean lines, and the glass-front cabinets open up the space.

- How do you like your dark sink? Is it easy to keep clean?

- Having the drawers open towards the door looks like a small thing, but it looks more functional.

- Did you have a skylight before? If so, what was your motivation in removing it?

- One tiny thing I'd consider: I'd move the coffee to the area under the glass doors. It'd allow access to coffee without entering the kitchen.

- Cool drawers above the refrigerator!

- The whole thing is small-but-mighty!

Mrs Pete - The old counters were tile from the late 80's. The grout lines were super annoying and I love the new quartz.

Love the dark sink. So far it's been very easy to keep clean. I just rinse it out with hot soapy water.

No skylight before. We just had that horrendous drop ceiling.

Thanks!

Looks great! Great idea with the liquor cabinet.
