What do you prefer in terms of design.

I wouldn't want a dark floor because it would show every bit of lint or powder.

I wouldn't want large tiles because I wanted smaller tiles so they weren't slippery. In terms of design, I opted for basketweave marble because I was going for more of a period look.

My walls are tiled but since I have a wall to wall vanity, I have a wall to wall mirror with individual mirrors on top of the wall to wall mirror.

I opted for wide spread two handle faucet because I liked the way it looked. I have a one handle kitchen faucet because of functionality but I don't think needing to use two handles to adjust temperature etc. in a bathroom faucet is as much of a functional issue as it is for a kitchen faucet.

I opted for a medicine cabinet since one can't have two much storage. My medicine cabinet was made by the cabinet maker who also did all of my cabinets so it matches the cabinet doors.

I have a mixture of a towel bars and hooks - hooks are handy for my robe and also hanging a towel by the shower door so it's ready when I step out.

Unless I was really limited for storage, I wouldn't want anything above the toilet - perhaps artwork. I am not much for pure decorative items in a bathroom because for me they just need to be cleaned and to be cleaned around. I did try to make my fixtures as decorative as possible and have nice containers for soap but nothing extraneous.

I say larger tiles cause I like that look better.

I would say not light tile nor dark. light and too dark show every spec of dirt. kinda need an in between or grainy tile.

I like 2 separate handles for hot and cold.

I love the look of long towel rack so modern and chic.

above toilet I love a modern glass shelving to put pretty décor items.
