We've looked at another of the Republic Pure SPC line and likely wouldn't gone with it if the only local store carrying it weren't marking it up to a ridiculous price point. One thing to note, if it matters, is that this appears to be a WPC product marketed with an "SPC" trademark name. That might not matter to you, but I was a bit irritated when I learned that. I hope you love your new floor!

silly-canadian - did you install the republic floor and if so what are your thoughts? I am interested in the water oak or sessile oak myself. I would love to see pics if you have any you would share. thanks

From what I have been told..Republic pure SPC is not the same as a WPC product. There is no wood in this product (SPC )which makes it 100% waterproof. WPC products, all thou can be waterproof could have water issues if water gets underneath i.e. major leak in laundry room. I think the dealer was leading Val C down the wrong path.

Post some pics, I am seriously looking at the Holm Oak, Great Oregon Collection. Thought their products were so amazing. Some were hard to tell if they were real wood vs. vinyl.
