Lose the banquette the most wasted seating with a round table and a PITA t o get in and out of go with a 36 X 60 table and you can seat 6 people in a pinch and 4 all the time the space is only 9 .9 x 8.5 there is no waya 60” table will work

Lose that banquette idea, and certainly not at length you had on long wall!.......................and a 54 table is max.

A fifty four inch round will do what she wants. leaves room to get around and seated, and still "fills" disparate opposing walls. Don't build anything in. Simple.

Otherwise? She needs to post the entire kitchen plan, for all we know the long wall need not BE THERE AT ALL.

Jan, you are right about needing to post the entire kitchen, I just don't have the image. But the island is about 4' to the right of where the image cuts off. Which is why a rectangular table won't work. As for your design, how do you suppose a 54" table works without a banquette? There is 9'9" of vertical space. Everything I have read says you need 36" from table to wall to be able to get in and out. So without a banquette, that means we could fit a 45" table not a 54" table. Where is my thinking wrong? Appreciate the help!

I showed you the 54 inch minus the banquette! Look at the scale drawing again, they are side by side, exact same walls, same everything. NO banquette on right.

All is 1/4 inch to one foot scale, and the drawing does not lie
