I would like some advice on choice of bed. I have an open space and would like to chose a bed which would serve the pucpose of open space apartment without looking "ugly" when gusts arrive (does look much "bedroom like"). Also some advice n covering the bed?

I attach picture of the space which the bed will be placed. The mattress is a king size one and very thick (38cm tall 15inches)
