Itlooks like you are off to a good start. I think you will get a lot of responses if you post this as being a "design dilemma" in addition to "basements". The first thing they will ask for is a floor plan with dimensions, showing doors, windows, fireplace Etc. You will get responses from people much more knowledgeable than I am however. you need a base for your TV that is about the same height as what you have now, but wider than the TV. Maybe something in a light to medium toned wood, since you have a lot of black stuff already. And a large area rug that all the chairs and sofas can sit on or at least have their front legs on. The rug should include colors you already have like the black and the taupe or light tan whatever that is, and maybe a pop of other colors you like.
