Nice! I had no idea citrus could be grown indoors under lights. Do you bring them in for the winter, and keep them outdoors as long as the temps are high enough?

I’m in S California, so I’ve never seen this done before, or given it a thought. I came across your post while looking through the “Growing Under Lights” forum. That orange looks great! (That’s coming from someone who is accustomed to seeing oranges growing in many backyards and professional groves.).

How I’d love to grow apples, peonies, tulips; all the things that require “chill hours”. The grass is always greener.......Lisa

Don't waste your time on apples. You can buy those. There is far more tasty fruits growable where you are than there ever will be up north in my area.

Was pretty excited to see Fruit on the first year I planted the tree. Harris Citrus has some pretty quality trees, would definitely purchase from them again.

I've also been surprised by how well the trees react to being brought indoors. I only have two grow lights and a humidifier but they seem to respond extremely well.

Now if I could just get rid of this reoccurring white scale problem everything would be great!

Scale? The next time it is warm enough to take it outside, anything above 40, spray it a;ll over with a good 'all seasons dormant spray'. Again in a couple of weeks. Even use the tub if you have too and a good water bottle, soaking the entire tree all over. That will do it)
