you are kind of locked in to a basic window. Id love to see a porthole style but i dont think they can open.

Check with local building code about egress windows. It may need to be tempered glass, too. Code will specify what you need.

Thanks so much for your response, it's much appreciated! Yes, our contractor has that info. I guess what I'm looking for are suggestions as to what style of window(s) to stick in there. One large one in the center, for sure. Perhaps a couple of smaller ones on either side? Again -thank you for your input.

Use a floor plan to figure out where your beds will go, then decide on how many windows where.
