Help with hallway picture placement

I’m trying to hang two pen and ink drawings in this hallway space. I can’t decide if the higher grouping level with the doorway moulding is the way to go. The ceiling is 9 ft. tall and the door frame is 7 ft.
The first two photos are the taller option. Thoughts?

PRO7 years agolast modified: 7 years agoNeither. I would hang it so the top of the frame is even with the top of the first door inset. Like this:
