Nobody grows this?

Here is the one I just got yesterday. It looks good and much larger than I expected! Excellent packing as well.

I understand that the yellow coloring on trunk and leaf veins get more yellow as it matures.

I use to have this at my last house but never had a name. It required no care and grew in part shade.

Thanks you guys :) I have it outside now in the shade, since the weather is nicer this week. I'm hoping the yellow color will continue to improve.

I'm probably gonna keep it potted and try to find a nice blue ceramic pot when its a little bigger, to help accentuate the yellow stem.

dirty, So cool you found one in an office park! I never get that lucky lol. Of course most plant pickings are slim in this neck of the woods lol, unless you go online or a few certain nurseries.

Ooh! Sultry, a blue pot would be amazing with the yellow leaves! I can't wait to see how it goes. I'm looking for a bright green pot for my NOID purple-stemmed colocasia. It's one where the stem is supposed to stay purple in the shade, in fact, the friend who gave it to me had it growing in a wooded area behind his garden. So far, that's holding tree with the first leaves having very dark stems and dark leaves even indoors. I just put it outside today. I'm hoping the large bulbs I got are also purple stemmed, but he didn't know, just that they are edible

An orangish yellow or yellow pot would show off purple stems as well..they are at opposite sides of the color wheel. You could get terracotta and do mosaic orange tiles hmmm. lol Maybe I should do a blue mosaic pot always wanted to try that! It might actually be cheaper than the ceramic..some of those are pricey!

I just went out and took a photo. Its so warm out today :) It seems to like the brighter light out there the past few days. I think it already looks more yellow especially the leaf veins.

I have this thing about purple and green. It reminds me of eggplants, and I love eggplants. I know, crazy, right?
