I haven't been here since this was Garden Web but I'm in the market for a new washer and I would appreciate some input. I'm probably going with a front loader and am currently leaning towards the Electrolux 627 or an LG. My current 13 yo front loader is about 3.7 cf and it met my needs when it was working OK.

The new washers get a lot bigger than this. Since I do bedding and a lot of down coats I need a bigger size but I also do a lot of smaller, delicate loads. Has anyone had problems (balance issues, etc) doing small loads in their big washers? How big is too big for small loads? Thanks
