I wasn't planing on it, but... its cold here, and I thought why not. I am narrowing it down ,lol I am on my way to get Hale Navy , Van Deusen Blue and Kensington blue chips . Make my mind up and do it tomorrow hopefully! The blue on the end just didn't have POP . The color on their now isn't bad, but it is what the living room is and also our bedroom . The people before us must have really liked the color I guess lol . I see it as not neutral enough, if I am staying with beige/tan .

Won't the dark wood sideboard/ china cabinet kinda' disappear against a dark wall?

True.. I have the buffet and then the black liquor cabinet .

Wow, what a difference! I love navy especially against dark wood tones like the ones in your DR set so that would be my vote, especially with the light rug and drapes.

I love navy dining rooms. The furniture may disappear some because it's also dark, but thats not necessarily a bad thing. With the white wainscoting, the curtains, and art I think it will be enough lightness to balance the darker elements.

Can I suggest a different idea? I think a dark color will make the room top heavy. I would suggest the first color on the left in your line up. It will suit the artwork so well and afford you the opportunity to have a calm eating experience with lively art.

I would go with one of the mid-tone blues in your chair fabric. And please lower the chandelier. (See #7 on Top 10 Decorating Mistakes and how to avoid them)
