How to hide cracks in granite?

There is a hairline crack about 10 inches long going down one corner in my Absolute Black granite fireplace surround. I am not going to tear it out and replace it over this.

I was told there is something that can be rubbed into the thin crack that minimizes the appearance of the crack and makes it much less visible.

The person who told me about it forgot what product does this.

What are recommendations?

Clear epoxy meant for granite chip repair may be what you want, but I would call a countertop fabricator before I did anything to it. If you put the wrong thing into the crack, it could hinder proper repair in the future.

I don't know of a permanent off the shelf product. When a counter top is installed the seams are filled with epoxy blended with some of the dust from the counter top fabrication. They mix and fill onsite.

I don’t know that it’s “permanent“ or not, but he said I could just rub it over the crack with my finger and wipe the excess off with a rag and it would make a crack line of this thinness mostly hidden.

i can’t find anyone to look at it. All the countertop fabricators say they only do new installations. They can only can give a quote to replace it with new granite.

For heaven sake. It's a hairline crack? I doubt it affects the structure. Fill it in. Move on.Google Amazon as above. And stop staring at it too.
