HELP!

I have four mirrors that I want to hang in my townhouse and I don't care if its in the living room or dining area, bathroom, bedroom, or staircase, etc; I just don't want the average side by side cliche (it seems so plain) I want an upscale, classic design idea

how about some pics of the spaces you are considering? You could hang them above a sofa or on a diningroom wall horizontally, that would look cool. Or if you don't have a headboard they would look great above a bed.

    Good Morning,
You asked for opinions so, here is mine:
What is your connection with these? Are they a gift from someone special? Is there an emotional attachment?Sorry, but your statement of, "I want an upscale, classic design idea" and these four, curvy, mirrors have nothing to do with each other. This type of mirror is very outdated and has no place in todays styling.
I suggest letting them go and starting over.

I know someone brought them over after I moved in and gave them to me as an housewarming gift(the mirrors are something old they no longer had use for wow! what a gift ugh?) because they visit me often I am guessing they would be anxious to see what I do with them iyiyi!

Are you sure they really like you LOL ? I would not feel obligated to put them up. If they came over and asked about them I would say "I am still looking for the perfect home" (keep repeating) ;)

I would not feel obligated to put these up. People give home décor items at their own peril and here they did not even spend money on these.

Well, I think it is possible to use them in a tasteful way. I have attached some possibilities. Use three of them horizontally in the dining area. Use one or three horizontally over the bed like a headboard. How about in the exercise area. I'm thinking even in the bathroom. However, I like to leave space between each one. Only using three or one would probably work best. I included the photo of tiles on the wall because I thought pebbles like this or a medium gray slate behind would give a more tasteful feel. The mirrors would look best with some kind of frame around each. I'm thinking someone who does stained glass may be able to make frame around each.
    Have fun with them.

IKEA... Saw then and Loved them, but couldn't see where they would work for me. Good luck.

vamyweather- maybe you could re-gift them to Valerie and tell your gift giving friends that they had to be put in a *relocation program* ;)

Aww I have to agree with Richard although I'm glad he said it and you confirmed you didn't choose them!
I totally agree that outdoors would be perfect.. Hidden slightly behind palm like frongs :)

Alternatively you could actually just push them together so they form one mirror... That would immediately make it look more different rather than instantly be recognisable as that outdated style ... Or you could pop them behind closet doors as full length mirrors ... Least they're not circus ones that make you look fat and skinny! :)

But really I don't think you should feel obliged to use them... It's bad enough they didnt buy you something new and admitted it.. But to tell you they were old and had no use for them?? Lol that doesn't deserve so much courtesy from you :)

Hi vmayweather. If you like the mirrors, I would suggest hanging them horizontally over a bed, or outdoors. If you want them to be nicely integrated with the rest of your home, I would make sure everything else is very simple and sleek, which is sometimes hard to do. Best of luck to you! :)
